A somber note was struck in the Columbus community after a recent altercation led to gunfire and resulted in the tragic death of one individual, with another left wounded. According to a social media post from the Columbus Division of Police, officers responded to an urgent call at a local area hospital last Thursday, January 22, at 11:02 p.m., where two victims of a shooting incident had sought medical assistance. Regrettably, the following morning, one of the victims, Mr. Jon Small, was pronounced deceased.
