(WJET/WFXP) — Erie High School’s JROTC instructor is facing criminal charges after police in Florida said he sent harmful material to an undercover officer posing as a 14-year-old during an online chat session.
City of Stuart police in southeast Florida said they started investigating 50-year-old Jason Dekaye of Meadville on January 6 for the alleged incident on a popular social media platform, with a Martin County, Florida judge later signing an arrest warrant.
Dekaye was arrested at his Meadville area home on January 23 without incident and is being held in the Crawford County Jail on $750,000 bond, facing extradition…
