Sandra Dunagan Deal Elementary School in northwestern Hall County was put on soft lockdown Thursday morning after what authorities called a “heated verbal exchange” in the school’s parking lot.
Hall County Sheriff’s Office Public Information Officer B.J. Williams said the incident happened just before 7:30 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 29, as students were being dropped off in the car-rider line for the school day.
“There were two women who were dropping off their children in separate vehicles to the school, and they became involved in a heated verbal exchange,” Williams said. “Apparently, there had been some type of road rage incident on White Sulphur Road as they approached the entryway of the school, and it spilled over into the car-rider line.”…
