Local conservancy transfers 175-acres to Pennsylvania DCNR

FULTON TOWNSHIP, Pa. (WHTM) — The Lancaster Conservancy just announced that it has transferred the 175-acre Rock Springs Nature Preserve to the Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources’ (DCNR) Bureau of Forestry.

According to the Lancaster Conservancy, the DCNR’s Bureau of Forestry will manage the 175-acre property, which is situated in southern Lancaster County, as part of the William Penn State Forest.
