Di Bruno Bros. to close several store locations

Di Bruno Bros. is shuttering a majority of its markets in the Philadelphia region this month.

Why it matters: The Philly-born Italian specialty grocer has been a beloved go-to spot for cured meats, cheese and epicurean delights since 1939.

State of play: The store at the Ardmore Farmer’s Market will close on Wednesday, a store employee tells Axios.

  • The Franklin Residences at 9th and Chestnut Streets in Philly is expected to close Feb. 11.
  • And the outpost in Wayne’s Strafford Shopping Center is expected to close Feb. 11, too, per the Inquirer.
