Advocacy is one of the most important roles your Chamber plays and much of that work happens behind the scenes.
Each year, the Delray Beach Chamber’s Advocacy Committee develops Legislative Priorities that reflect the needs of our business community and our city. These priorities guide our conversations with elected officials in Tallahassee and help ensure that local voices are heard at the state level.
Our 2026 priorities include affordability issues such as housing and property insurance, tax credits for childcare and registered apprenticeships, support for education and talent pipelines, continued investment in arts culture and tourism, support of Palm Beach County School District issues, and support of the City of Delray Beach’s appropriations requests.
