Worcester residents to protest charges against former councilor who confronted ICE

Activists and residents from Worcester this weekend will demand the Northwestern District Attorney’s office drop charges against against a former city councilor who confronted federal immigration agents and police in May.

Worcester Indivisible, a progressive activist group, is organizing the protest near the district attorney’s office at One Gleason Plaza in Northampton on Jan. 31 from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m.
