FRESNO, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – An 89-year-old woman who was trapped in a house fire in Fresno on Sunday has made an “incredible” recovery since then, according to the Fresno Fire Department.
On Sunday evening, firefighters responded to the home on Fulton Street in Fresno’s Tower District after reports of smoke and flames coming from the residence. A woman was trapped upstairs, and neighbors tried to get her out before first responders arrived.
When firefighters got to the scene, they were able to get her out of the burning building. She suffered severe smoke inhalation and was unresponsive when she was removed…
