Man accused of killing veteran outside of Lucky’s Pub indicted on murder charges

SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) — The man accused of shooting and killing a veteran in November 2025 outside of a local bar was formally charged on Wednesday.

After responding to a report of shots fired at Lucky’s Pub at 1:55 a.m. on Nov. 12, Chatham County Police officers found D’Angelo Shaw. Shaw was working as security at the pub when he was shot and killed.

Officers later located and arrested 45-year-old Jeremy Scarth in connection with Shaw’s death.

Scarth is charged with malice murder, felony murder, aggravated assault and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, according to court documents.
