‘I heard his last breath’: Woman sentenced to prison for death of Sonic manager

The killer of Sonic Drive-In restaurant manager Daniel Shrewsbury was sentenced to 40 years in prison after a full day of witness testimony.

Adiah Roberson, 19, was convicted of murder and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon in the death of Shrewsbury. The Sonic manager was shot and killed on July 7, 2024, during a dispute with Roberson over counterfeit money.
