ROCKFORD, Ill. (WTVO) — Rockford Police said a 20-year-old shooting victim was taken to the hospital on Friday night after an incident at the Mercyhealth Rockton Avenue Physicians Clinic.
According to police, authorities responded to the campus, at 2400 N. Rockton Avenue, prior to 7 p.m.
The victim was taken to a local hospital for life-threatening injuries, authorites said.
Police did not give information on possible suspects, and no arrests have been announced. The incident remains under investigation…
