Nine months after a San Antonio-based construction company accused King of Country George Strait’s son and daughter-in-law of “fraudulent schemes,” allegedly to avoid paying renovation costs on a Boerne home, the legal drama has come to a closed-door resolution to the matter out of the courtroom.
Here’s what to know about the latest chapter in a four-party lawsuit involving George “Bubba” Strait and his wife Tamara, Bexar County-based construction company Build Modern, as well as Heritage Oaks Trust — the trust allegedly managing funding for the Strait’s home renovation project, overseen by trustee Kalyn Carroll.
