Humble police captain placed on paid administrative leave as leadership investigation deepens

HOUSTON – More changes are impacting the Humble Police Department after the city manager confirmed Thursday that the department has seen its second administrative leave involving leadership in as many months.

“I can confirm that Captain Kimberlin has been placed on administrative leave pending investigation. As this is an ongoing investigation, the City has no further comment and will not be answering any further questions on the topic,” City Manager Jason Stuebe told 2 Investigates.

When asked whether Kimberlin’s administrative leave is paid or unpaid, Stuebe responded with a one-word clarification: “Paid.”…
