Emporia and Wichita are both mourning the loss of a teacher, a friend, and a beacon of light.
Police found Rebecca Rauber, a Wichita native and Bishop Carroll graduate in 2015, dead over the weekend in Emporia after being reported missing Friday night. Emporia police believe she likely died from hypothermia and say there is no indication of criminal intent.
