Child safe after falling through the ice in Colorado Springs

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) – A 13-year-old is now safe after falling through the ice on a pond Friday evening, according to the Colorado Springs Fire Department (CSFD).

Firefighters said they responded to 3628 Greenways Main Boulevard, near Tutt Boulevard and North Carefree Circle, at 4:21 p.m. for a child who fell through the ice.
