DOUGLAS COUNTY, Colo. — Colorado Department of Corrections requested a warrant hours before Douglas County deputies say a suspect, Daniel Tolentino, engaged in a shootout with a Douglas County deputy after stealing a car, according to parole records 9NEWS investigates obtained.
A parole officer had not seen Tolentino for more than two months before the incident despite repeated attempts to contact him, records show.
