LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — One of the drivers involved in a deadly crash on the 215 Southern Beltway is now facing DUI and possible other charges.

The crash happened shortly before 1 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 27, and involved three vehicles. According to the Nevada State Police, a driver in a Nissan Sentra was speeding in the eastbound lanes and struck the back of a Porsche Cayenne SUV. The SUV’s driver, identified as 31-year-old Alejandro Filomeno-Montoya, got out of his vehicle and approached the passenger side of the Sentra and was struck by a third vehicle that crashed into the Sentra, causing it to spin around and hit Filomeno-Montoya, killing him.
