As Akron developer Tony Troppe works to preserve a historic Akron church, he’s collaborating with the Akron Art Museum to display a stained glass window from the site.
Troppe said he’s serving as chief facilitator on the rehabilitation of the former St. Paul’s Episcopal Church at 354 E. Market St. in Akron — a project involving the St. Paul’s Revival Group and the Historic District Management Co. Troppe owns the property as an individual, according to Summit County Fiscal Office records.
“This is a culmination of 30 years of work, identifying problem pieces of real estate — blighted places that were slated for demolition — and then recognizing the treasures within,” Troppe said…
