AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) – Students at SOAR Academy celebrated the start of renovations on their new campus after Hurricane Helene heavily damaged their previous building off Washington Road.
The groundbreaking ceremony marks the end of uncertainty for the school as it searched for a new location following the hurricane damage. Students and families gathered to celebrate what will become their permanent home.
