MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) – After years of planning and development, a new airport near downtown Mobile is scheduled to open this fall.
FOX10 got an exclusive and up-close look at the brand-new terminal at the Brookley Aeroplex, located 15 miles away from Mobile Regional Airport in west Mobile. The $362 million project sits on the former Air Force base site.
Luckett Robinson, Mobile Airport Authority Board Chairman, led the tour through the single-floor terminal.
