Orlando physician sentenced to two years for illegal silicone injections

ORLANDO, Florida — Nhan Pham, a 55-year-old physician from Orlando, has been sentenced to two years in federal prison for the receipt and delivery of an adulterated device, violating the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act. Pham pleaded guilty on May 7, 2025, according to U.S. Attorney Gregory W. Kehoe.

Court documents reveal that between 2015 and 2019, Pham ordered silicone oil online and injected it into patients for gluteal and buttock enhancements at his office and home. The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has not approved injectable silicone for body contouring and has warned the public about its health risks.
