NES officials warn residents of generators causing issues with power lines, look ahead to weekend preparation

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — With more cold and wet weather on the horizon, crews are preparing to retreat roads they’ve already cleared.

Nashville Electric Service officials claim they’re prepared for the inclement weather threat coming this weekend. And they’re on the move, hauling in salt for the roads.

The Nashville Department of Transportation and the Tennessee Department of Transportation have 46 crews working days, nights and weekends to assess damage and transport people to warming shelters…
