(FOX40.COM) — Nearly a dozen Mexican military leaders visited Sacramento this week for transnational meetings with the California National Guard.
California Gov. Gavin Newsom thanked Mexico’s Secretariat of National Defense for their visit on Friday, calling the partnership a “testament of our commitment to collaboration and mutual values.”
“The California National Guard has a proven track record of keeping Californians safe and helping our neighbors when we receive the call,” he said in a news release. “California’s partnership with Mexico strengthens our state’s ability to keep people safe during natural disasters and prevent transnational crime.”…
