New details emerge about Geddes fire hall shooting; both suspects take plea deals

Geddes, N.Y. – Two men involved in shootings outside a birthday party at a Geddes fire hall this summer that injured five people have taken plea deals that will send them both to state prison.

Kelvin Rivera-DeJesus, 30, pleaded guilty on Friday to second-degree criminal possession of a weapon. He’s been promised a prison sentence of 3 1/2 years.

Wilfredo Lopez-Ramos, 39, pleaded guilty to first-degree assault and first-degree reckless endangerment in December. Under the plea deal, he will be sentenced to 12 years in prison…
