School board elections are scheduled for May 12, but filings to date show that every candidate currently running is already serving on a school board, according to the latest records from the Delaware Department of Elections. Multiple seats across Appoquinimink, Brandywine, Christina, Colonial and Red Clay remain vacant or uncontested, even as local boards brace for decisions that could reshape Wilmington education for decades.
