Rockford Celebrates a Teacher Who Reaches Every Learner

Some of the most meaningful teaching happens quietly, through patience, structure, and a deep commitment to meeting students where they are. This week’s 97ZOK Teacher of the Week is being recognized for the way she creates a safe, effective learning environment for students with intellectual and developmental disabilities, offering consistency, compassion, and individualized support every single day. Her impact reaches beyond her own classroom as well, through mentoring new educators and strengthening the field of special education across the Rockford community.
