$5,000 reward offered for information after hate speech was spray-painted outside Walt Whitman High School

BETHESDA, Md. — A reward is being offered for information after hate language was found spray-painted on the exterior of Walt Whitman High School in Bethesda earlier this month.

According to the Montgomery County Department of Police, the spray-paint was found on Jan. 16. The messages were directed at the Muslim community and included anti-Muslim and anti-Palestinian language.

The people who left the hateful graffiti have not yet been found. Following the discovery, the Victims’ Rights Foundation announced it is offering a $2,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and prosecution of any suspect or suspects…
