SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) — A Minnehaha County jury said the man authorities thought was responsible for a 2024 stabbing death is not guilty on all counts.
Eleghba Lipsey, 52, was accused of stabbing and killing Aidan Quickbear, 25, in November 2024. The jury read the verdict after 5 p.m. Friday at the Minnehaha County Courthouse.
KELOLAND News was in the courtroom earlier Friday for closing arguments, which began with the state describing why they believed, beyond a reasonable doubt, that Lipsey was guilty of murder.
