LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — Some Las Vegas neighbors are running late for hair appointments and happy hour due to an intersection of two major construction projects and it’s putting some businesses on shaky ground.
The City of Las Vegas, along with the Regional Flood Control District have reduced Charleston to one lane due to the installation of a 8-foot by 7-foot storm drain box, due to be complete 2027. The RTC of Southern Nevada has reduced Maryland to one lane due to the ongoing Maryland Parkway project, set to add new bus lanes, due to be completed later this year.
