• 3:59 a.m. — Troopers responded to a two-vehicle crash on Interstate 5 near Foots Creek in rural Jackson County that took the life of Ana Azuchena Villa-Rodriguez, 31, of Medford. OSP’s preliminary investigation indicated that Villa-Rodriguez was driving a southbound Nissan Altima and attempted to make a U-turn for unknown reasons and was struck by a southbound Dodge Ram 2500 driven by a 50-year-old Grants Pass man.
