HONOLULU (Island News) — Down to Earth is partnering with local influencer Bretman Rock for a new smoothie, making this its second smoothie that takes inspiration from Erewhon’s collaborations in Los Angeles.
Erewhon’s smoothie craze made its way from LA to Hawaii when Down to Earth released a line of super smoothies in Oct. 2024. Soon after, these were dubbed Erewhon “dupes” because of the similarities in colorful nutrition and creamy swirls.
What was missing from the local spin on these superfood smoothies was the celebrity and influencer tie-ins, which made Erewhon smoothies become even more novel. Since 2021, Erewhon has had a revolving door of collaborations with people like Heidi Klum, Sabrina Carpenter, Hailey Bieber, Shay Mitchell (which I’ve gotten to try!) and Olivia Rodrigo.
This past summer, Down to Earth leaned into this influencer space when they partnered with viral Hawaii food influencer Corina Quach, known by her online handle @fiveftfoodie. Together, they released her mango sticky rice smoothie in June 2025, which is everything that it sounds like from the coconut cream walls, down to every piece of “rice” (coconut tapioca pudding)…
