Kent State junior Veronika Kedronova was invited to the sixth annual Augusta National Women’s Amateur, one of the most prestigious events in women’s amateur golf. The selection marks a significant milestone for both Kedronova and the Kent State women’s golf program, as she becomes the third athlete in program history to earn a spot in the tournament and the first to do so under head coach Casey VanDamme’s.
Kedronova is the second golfer from Czechia to compete in the tournament, highlighting her impact on the international amateur golf scene. Kedronova’s selection continues KSU’s tradition of producing elite amateur golfers.
Kedronova has built an impressive career at KSU, earning five individual victories in her tenure as a Flash. Among those victories was a first-place finish at the inaugural Canadian Collegiate Invitational, which also secured her an invitation to the 2026 CPKC Women’s Open. Kedronova’s consistent success has established her as a top contender in the Mid-American Conference.
