Animal Control Praises Concerned Neighbor After Dog Welfare Check: Your Call Could Save a Life

Dedham Animal Control in Dedham, Massachusetts, responded to a concerned resident’s call on Friday regarding a neighbor’s dog that had reportedly been left outside in cold and snowy conditions, the department announced Saturday, January 31st. When officers arrived at the scene shortly after receiving the call, the dog had already been brought inside. Upon speaking with the owner, animal control officers learned that “the dog had only been outside for a short period of time, monitored-and the dog was fine,” according to the department’s statement.
