Red Cross assists 4 people after fire damages Buffalo house

BUFFALO, N.Y. — American Red Cross is assisting four people after a fire rolled through Buffalo home on Saturday afternoon.

Buffalo Fire personnel were called around 3:30 p.m. Saturday to the 200 block of Ross Avenue, near Tonawanda Street, in the Riverside neighborhood. That’s where firefighters found a 2.5-story structure with a fire on the first floor.

The blaze caused an estimated $100,000 in damage to the building and another $50,000 to its contents…
