Greater Cincinnati area loses power after driver crashes into power lines

GREEN TOWNSHIP, Ohio (WKRC) – Power was knocked out in part of Greater Cincinnati early Saturday after a driver crashed into transmission lines in Green Township, utility officials said.

Duke Energy said the outage occurred at about 4:44 a.m. after a vehicle struck a utility pole, bringing down transmission lines.

Crews worked to repair the damage, and Duke Energy said power was expected to be restored within 12 hours…
