Burlington has secured a permit valued at $900,000 to begin construction at the former Big Lots location at 19142 Montgomery Village Avenue. While an opening timeframe isn’t available, a 2026 opening now seems likely.
Construction is expected to begin very soon at the site. As of now, the nearby Gaithersburg Burlington location has indicated it will remain open. Back in May 2025, “Coming Soon” signage went up for Burlington at 19142 Montgomery Village Avenue in the Montgomery Village Center.
