SPRINGFIELD, Ohio (WKEF) — An 83-year-old man was supposed to be sentenced Friday after being convicted of murdering an uber driver after what police say was a scam call, but that sentencing now delayed until Monday, Feb 2 after a medical emergency with one of the defense attorneys.
After requesting a motion for a new trial and acquittal by his legal team being overruled William Brock was brought before a judge to receive sentencing. Brock was convicted of murder, felonious assault, and kidnapping in the death of 61-year-old Loletha hall.
The judge asked Brock if he had anything to say before a sentence was handed down. Brock said “No your honor.”…
