San Francisco’s Live 105 honored for its profound impact on Bay Area radio listeners

Three years after returning to the airwaves, Live 105 (KITS-FM) was recognized for its decades-long legacy by the Bay Area Radio Museum and Hall of Fame.

The beloved San Francisco alternative rock station was honored as the 2026 Legendary Station of the Year at the California Historical Radio Society in Alameda on Friday, Jan. 30.
