NASCAR reschedules Cook Out Clash at Bowman Gray Stadium due to winter weather

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. (WGHP) — The Cook Out Clash at Bowman Gray Stadium has been postponed to Monday, Feb. 2, due to the impacts of winter weather, NASCAR announced in a press release.

On Thursday, NASCAR announced that Saturday events, including NASCAR Cup Series practice, qualifying and heat races, have been postponed “out of an abundance of caution due to expected winter weather.” That also includes The Cook Out Madhouse Classic featuring the NASCAR Weekly Series’ Modified and Sportsman divisions. A new date has not yet been announced.

Parking lots will open Monday at 9 a.m. with off-site shuttle services beginning at 9:30 a.m. Gates will open at 10 a.m…
