Snow was falling on parts of Alabama on Saturday, and very cold conditions are expected both today and especially tonight for the entire state.
The National Weather Service has issued — and now expanded — a winter weather advisory in effect for northeast Alabama, which could get up to an inch of snow through midday Saturday.
