Man Killed In Chain-Reaction Roosevelt Boulevard Crash

The multi-vehicle crash unfolded around 3:30 a.m. under the Broad Street overpass, where police said two men were initially involved in an earlier collision in the northbound lanes that left their vehicles disabled.

The men — a 55-year-old and a 31-year-old — exited their vehicles as additional cars began striking the disabled vehicles, investigators said. In an attempt to avoid being hit, both men jumped over the concrete median separating the northbound and southbound lanes.
