Navy SEALs, K-9s show off skills at Palm Beach rec center celebration

Under blue skies and next to the stars and stripes, a pair of agile service dogs sprang into action — not to effect a daring rescue for the Navy SEALs, but to educate children about what it takes to be a member of the military’s elite squad.

The demonstration was just one of several by the National Navy UDT-SEAL Museum in Fort Pierce during Palm Beach’s celebration of the Morton and Barbara Mandel Recreation Center’s sixth birthday.
