Man sentenced for manslaughter in deadly double shooting outside Rochester bar

Rochester, N.Y. — A man was sentenced Friday to 25 years in prison after pleading guilty in November to two counts of manslaughter for a deadly double shooting on the city’s northeast side, according to the Monroe County District Attorney’s Office.

Hector Ramos-Diaz of Farmington shot Wahid Nazario, 29, and Frank Rosario Vazquez, 49, as they were leaving King & Queen Cantina on North Goodman Street near Norton Street early Feb. 11, 2024, according to Rochester police.

Police said All three men were asked to leave the bar for getting into a fight, which led to Ramos-Diaz ambushing the victims as they walked to their vehicle, firing at least 18 shots from a handgun…
