SYRACUSE, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) — Protestors gathered in Downtown Syracuse on Jan. 30, as part of a nationwide day of action calling for changes to immigration enforcement policies. The ‘ICE OUT OF EVERYWHERE’ rally was inspired by Minnesota’s day of “no work, no school, no shopping.”
Several local advocacy groups, including Syracuse Democratic Socialists of America, Syracuse Party for Socialism and Liberation, Jewish Voice for Peace Syracuse, and the Syracuse Peace Council, organized the rally that took place at 4 p.m. on Friday.
