A woman was rushed to the hospital in west Houston on Saturday after her fiancé allegedly shot her twice while she was sleeping, police say.
According to the Houston Police Department, officers responded to a call at about 3:30 a.m. about a shooting in the 12000 block of Brant Rock. When officers arrived, they found a woman with two gunshot wounds to her leg and ankle area, according to authorities.
