Our street, the 1600 block of Underwood St. NW, hasn’t been plowed a single time since the storm a week ago. In the last day alone my teenage son has helped at least three cars stuck in the street spinning their wheels on the ice. We have elderly and disabled residents restricted to their homes, unable to get to the grocery store or doctors office. We haven’t had mail delivery either the entire week.
We have called 311 repeatedly. The 1600 blocks of Van Buren and Tuckerman are equally messy and dangerous. Photo attached! (Don’t be distracted by the lovely sunset over the park…)”…
