Snowy, cold pattern could last into March: FOX 8 rest-of-winter outlook

CLEVELAND (WJW) — Northeast Ohio should brace for a colder-than-normal and snowier finish to winter, according to FOX 8 meteorologist Scott Sabol, who says the region is locked into a persistent storm pattern that could last into March.

“We’re anticipating above normal snowfall, kind of like what we’ve had now,” Sabol said. “So, over the next month and a half, anticipate above normal snowfall throughout the Great Lakes.”

Sabol said February is expected to be even colder than January, with limited breaks from frigid air. He described the pattern as “continuous, frigid-type temperatures” over the next several weeks, noting that any meaningful warmup may not arrive until late February…
