Here we are, a week out from that 20-inch snowstorm and Boston streets are in pretty good shape – for people in motor vehicles. For people on foot – even if they’re not pushing a stroller – or in wheelchairs, not so good.
Adam Castiglioni went for a walk today around the North End today and found crosswalks blocked at the supposed “Gateway to the North End,” where Endicott, North Washington, Commercial and Causeway come together. And he posted his photos the day after somebody else filed a 311 complaint about that intersection:
Extremely dangerous, crossing situation for all, especial strollers and wheelchairs at North Washington St. Crossings are not shoveled on either side of commercial street.
