CHARLOTTE (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — The North Carolina National Guard (NCNG) is mobilizing its resources across the state to assist with emergency management as the second winter storm in two weeks hits the Charlotte area.
NCNG repositioned many of its force packages on Wednesday and Thursday this past week to better prepare for the storm after serving almost 10 days ago in response to Winter Storm Fern.
The NC National Guard activated 341 personnel and 127 vehicles in response to this storm.
