Local mechanic debunks myth about warming up cars during the winter days

COLUMBUS, Ga. (WRBL) — It’s commonly believed that drivers should warm up their cars before driving them in the cold weather, however, some say that it’s a myth. WRBL spoke with a local mechanic who says it’s not mandatory.

General mechanic Scotty Sanders said, ” There’s probably some sluggish feeling from not warming it up and just jumping in and driving, but I can’t say 100%. Yes. And there’s going to be damaged and or no, there’s not going to be.”
